This Land-Speed racer was built in the early 2000's by Rod Shop in Calgary, Canada. Tom Racz, owner and driver, built as an auxiliary belly fuel tanker for the Bonneville XFGL Class, and styled after a Canadian T33 jet. Powered by a flathead V8 and featuring Hilborn Mechanical injection, with a customized 2-speed Mercury transmission mated to a solid rear axle. Featuring only rear drum brakes and a transverse leaf spring front axle, this bare-bones and 200 mph capable machine could only make sense with the Bonneville Salt Flats as its home. We are excited to refurbish and someday compete for glory using this beautiful missile.
