1930 Ford Model A Speedster
This 1930 Ford Speedster was constructed from an early Ford chassis that has been narrowed, shortened and Z’d in the rear and fitted with Model A axles. It’s powered by a built Model B engine with a Stromberg carburetor and a 12-volt ignition system. It sends power to the rear wheels via a three-speed manual transmission with a center-positioned gear shifter that sits between the driver’s legs and engages using a hydraulic clutch. This speedster has a traditional side exhaust and stops using a four-wheel brake system with an external hand lever. It rides on 21-inch wire wheels fitted with bias-ply tires.
